Congratulations on receiving a Fulbright grant! The resources on this page are designed to familiarize you with your host location and provide important context and information as you prepare to travel abroad. Orientation Information

As part of your Fulbright grant, select individuals are required to attend the live sessions of the 2022 virtual Pre-Departure Orientation (PDO) from July 18-21, 2022. The PDO will provide sessions and activities to help you prepare for your upcoming experience. If you are required to attend the PDO you will receive an email that will direct you to the PDO website, where you can register for the event. If you have any questions regarding the PDO, please email fulbrightevents@iie.org.

Visa Information:

Before coming to Lithuania, every Fulbright grantee needs to get a multiple entry National D Visa. You must apply for and receive a National D visa before your departure to Lithuania.

Teaching-only grants: Scholars are expected to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses chosen by the host institution and/or the applicants. Additionally, Scholars may conduct seminars or workshops, consult on course design and curriculum development, provide in-service training for faculty as requested, and advise and mentor students.

Fulbright-Schuman European Union Affairs Program

Conduct policy-oriented research that addresses topics of common importance for the US-EU relationship and/or EU affairs and that is tenable in one, two, or three EU Member States.
